With the NEAFL Representative game being played between the Eastern and Northern Conferences there was no Ainslie NEAFL game on the weekend.
The Division 1 team fell well short of Belconnen in cold and windy conditions at Ainslie Oval. Belconnen handled the conditions better and were able to get loose players through the centre to defeat a disappointing Ainslie by 59 points.
Final score: Ainslie 5.9-39 def by Belconnen 14.14-98
It was a similar story in the U18s with Belconnen displaying much better team work to run out winners over Ainslie by 45 points.

The Thirds were the shining team of the weekend defeating Tuggeranong by 75 points out at Greenway.
Final score: Ainslie 18.18-126 def Tuggeranong 8.3-51
The Division 3 team had to travel out to Cootamundra to take on a strong Cootamundra side. Ainslie found it tough going down by 83 points. A notable event was the playing together of father and son Salvo and Dylan Delorenzo. Both players kicked a goal for Ainslie.

The Women found it hard out at Greenway in the night game going down to Tuggeranong by 23 points.
