NSW/ACT Under 18 State Zone Trials at Coffs Harbour
168 emerging under-18 players from across NSW and ACT will vie for selection into the 2010 NSW/ACT RAMS squad when they showcase their talents at the AFL (NSW/ACT) Under-18 State Zone Trials. Staged at the Coffs Harbour International Sports Stadium, the carnival will run from Tuesday, January 19 to Thursday, January 21.
Twenty five players from the past three state trials have been selected onto AFL lists. Nine players from NSW/ACT were listed to clubs in the 2009 NAB drafts.
The ACT/South Coast Cats will play against six other teams from regions throughout NSW. From these trials an initial AFL NSW/ACTAMS Squad will be formed with players who could not attend trials due to injury and unavailability being considered.

The coaches are Anthony Bourke, Simon Wheatley and Paul Campbell, the manager Garry Lawless
Umpires for these trials from this region include field umpires Dom de Carvalho and Gavin Whitehouse (AFL Canberra) , boundary umpires Scott Gordon and Tabitha Hocking (AFL Canberra) and goal umpire Emma Webb-Wagg (South Coast AFL).
