December saw the inaugural North Side Summer Development Camp run over 5 sessions at both Ainslie and Amaroo Ovals.The camp is a joint initiative between the Gungahlin Jets Football Club and the Ainslie Football Club aimed at 13 to 15 year olds looking to develop their skills over the summer offseason.

The camp was a huge hit with over 50 participants attending the 5 sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings throughout December. Participants not only received a training singlet but also received coaching from the likes of Ainslie head coach Chris Rourke, Gungahlin head coach Todd Pulford, Ainslie Best and Fairest winner and leading goal kicker Tim Inkster, former North Melbourne contracted player Ben Hughes as well as a number of other Ainslie senior players and junior coaches.
