In Round 16 of the NEAFL Eastern Conference Ainslie play Belconnen at Manuka Oval on Saturday 14 July starting at 2pm.

Ainslie are fresh from the bye while Belconnen put up a very good performance against leaders Eastlake to only go down by 9 points. It will be a tough game with Ainslie needing to win to stay in touch with the leading group and Belconnen in good form.

The Division 1 game between Ainslie and Belconnen will also be crucial to both teams.  Ainslie had a good win over Queanbeyan last round and need to keep winning to cement a spot in the top 4. Belconnen are leading the ladder in the Div 1 grade and will be a big test for the Tricolours. This game gets underway at 11.30am at Manuka.

In the Under 18 grade Ainslie are pushing for a spot in the top 4 while Belconnen a sitting in third place. It should be a very competitive game and starts at 9.30am at Manuka Oval.

In other games on Saturday 14 July the Division 2 team plays  Eastlake at Football Park starting at 2.15pm. The Division 3s play Gungahlin at Amaroo at 12 noon and the Women play Belconnen at Jamison Oval at 10am.

The Junior competition has a break for school holidays and will resume on Saturday 21 July.
