Dear Ainslie Players, parents and carers,
Welcome to Season 2012, I hope that it brings the fun and achievement you are after, I know I am excited!. The season is fast approaching with Round 1 scheduled to start on 5 May.
Season 2012 kicked off with practice matches for the U14s and U16s at Reid on 14 April. I’m sure they were all itching to get out on the field and chase the Sherrin.
Training has commenced for most grades with training sessions on the following days and times:
The Junior club operates on the support of volunteers and whilst we have secured coaches for most teams we must fill team manager roles and other key volunteer positions within the Junior operations. These positions include coordination of first aid training and equipment, ground supervisor roles on home game days, coordination of fundraising and sponsorship, canteen coordination, trips away and communications to name a few.
If you are interested in volunteering some time to help support the junior club please send an e-mail to email@example.com and give an indication of your preference.
Please refer to the club website Ainslie Football for all key information. While you will still receive information on team related matters by email, advice on training cancellation and key information such as draws and key dates will be posted on the web.
All the best for season 2012 and I hope to see you all at the footy soon.
Ainslie Junior President
