Junior Melbourne Trip

The Ainslie Junior Club sponsored a trip to Melbourne for members of the U14 and U16 teams. 43 junior players along with 8 adults went on the 3 day trip, including members of the Youth Girls team. They went to watch 3 AFL games played at Etihad Stadium and the MCG. A report of the trip follows:

Tom Daniel plays his 50th game

Tom Daniel plays his 50th game for Ainslie this Saturday in the game against Tuggeranong at Ainslie Oval.  Tom is in his third season with the Club after coming across from Weston Creek where he played 42 games. Congratulations Tom and all the best for the game.

Ainslie Football & Social Club Social Day

The Ainslie Football & Social Club are holding a staff social day at Ainslie Oval when Ainslie play Tuggeranong on Saturday 18th July. The event will be held from 12.00pm to 4.00pm.

All wives, partners, family, friends, children & supporters of the AFC are most welcome to attend. There will be a BBQ and drinks available. For the kids there will be face painting and a jumping castle.

Ian Lawless plays his 50th game

Congratulations to Ian Lawless who plays his 50th game for Ainslie in 1st Division this Saturday against Belconnen.  Ian is in his third season with Ainslie and came to the Club in 2007 from the Victorian country town of Orbost.

Red, White and Black Ball

 

The Ainslie Football Club is conducting its annual Red, White & Black Ball on Saturday 11th July.  The event will be held in the Ainslie Football & Social Club Function Centre, Level 1.  Pre-dinner drinks begin at 7pm and the function officially commences at 7.30pm.  A three course meal, drinks and entertainment are all inclusive.
