Ainslie Juniors Registration 2009

The Ainslie Juniors held their Registration Day on Sunday the 15th February 2009 at Ainslie Oval. It was a very successful day with over 150 registrations taken from both new and former players. Several Senior players were on hand to kick the ball with the juniors and to run them through some drills.

AINSLIE FOOTBALL CLUB DONATES TO YARRA VALLEY MOUNTAIN FOOTBALL NETBALL LEAGUE

The Ainslie Football Club has donated $10,000 to the Yarra Valley Mountain Football Netball League in response to fires that have engulfed and destroyed many country Victorian townships in recent days.

Whilst the tragic loss of lives and property dwarfs the financial contribution in the overall scheme of things, the Ainslie Football Club nonetheless empathises with the people of country Victoria as the human, property, plant and equipment toll rises with each passing day.

Ainslie players in Rams and Academy squads

Jason Tutt is one of four ACT players to be selected in the U18 AFL (NSW/ACT) training squad resulting from the NSW Under 18 Zone Championships held in Coffs Harbour mid January.

Lachie Carter and Jake Whatman have been selected to participate in the AFL (NSW/ACT) Academy program for 2009. Players will receive ongoing specialist training and development for up to eight sessions throughout May, June and August. Both players took part in the recent Under-14 State Zone Trials in Narrandera.

Congratulations to Jason, Lachie and Jake.
