Ainslie Junior Registration Details

Ainslie Football Club Junior registration day will be held on Sunday the 14th of March 11am – 2pm at Ainslie Oval.

 

I am also excited to announce that all junior registration fees for 2010 have been waived!  That means all Ainslie juniors will pay $0 to play AFL in the red white and black in 2010!  So bring your brothers, sisters, cousins and friends down to register for another exciting season of footy.

 

Please Note: For the Ainslie Football Club to waive registration fees in 2010 we do require your assistance with fundraising activities and various  volunteer roles throughout the year.  This maybe as little as 1 hour for the entire season!! So please make yourself available where possible!

 

 

In 2010 the Ainslie Football Club will be running the following programs

 

Auskick Rookie                     Registration Fee: $0!!

 

For those born in 2003, 2004 or 2005.

 

Auskick Rookie is the introductory program for Australian Rules Football with focus on skills, modified activities and providing a fun and safe environment. Package includes a fantastic backpack, footy, hat and drink bottle.

 

Ainslie will conduct a number of Auskick Rookie programs throughout 2010.  For further details and online registration please see www.aflauskick.com.au. Be sure to enter “2602” as your postcode or “Ainslie” in Centre Locater for linkage to our database.

 

If you would prefer to register in person please come along to the Ainslie registration day on Sunday 14th March with your completed Auskick form.

 

Auskick Pro 8’s Auskick Pro 9’s                  Registration Fee: $0!!

 

For those born in 2001 and 2002.

 

Formally known as Under 8’s and Under 9’s, this program has modified rules providing a fun, participative and safe environment, whilst developing players. 

 

Registration can be done online at www.aflauskick.com.au. Be sure to enter “2602” as your postcode or “Ainslie” in Centre Locater for linkage to our database.

 

Registration includes a fantastic package which contains an Ainslie jumper to wear for the season, socks, Auskick backpack, footy, hat and drink bottle.

 

Training: Ainslie Oval, 4:30 - 5:30pm Wednesdays

Games: North Canberra, 12:30 – 2:30pm Saturdays TBC

Under 10’s and 11’s               Registration Fee: $0!!

 

For those born in 1999 and 2000

 

Modified rules (expanded from Auskick Pro) providing a fun, participative and safe environment whilst developing and extending players. 

 

Registration includes a fantastic package which contains an Ainslie jumper to wear for the season, drink bottle, socks, football, Sportsmans Warehouse voucher plus more.

 

Training: Ainslie Oval 4:30 – 5:30pm Wednesdays

Games: ACT wide. Saturdays Times TBC

 

Under 12’s, 14’s and 16’s                  Registration Fee: $0!!

 

Under 12’s: For those born in 1998

Under 14’s: For those born in 1996 and 1997

Under 16’s: For those born in 1995 and 1994

 

Competition rules for lots of fun and participation for all players.

 

Registration includes a fantastic package which contains an Ainslie jumper to wear for the season, drink bottle, socks, Sportsmans Warehouse voucher plus more!

 

Training and game times TBC

 

 

All Players also receive:

 

  • Coaching by accredited coaching staff
  • Presentation night function with free snacks and drinks
  • Every player from Under 8’s to Under 11’s will receive a participation trophy and every player from Under 12’s to Under 16’s will receive a participation medal.
  • Team trophies such as “Best Skills”, “Most Valuable Player” will also be awarded.

 

Club Shorts

 

Club shorts are to be worn when playing in competition games. These will be available for purchase on registration day for a cost of $20.

 

Boot Pool

 

The AFC has a great range of football boots, which will be available on registration day.  If you have a pair of good, clean boots that you would like to donate to the Boot Pool, please bring them along on the day.

 

Merchandise

 

Due to popular demand, a range of official AFC merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the season.

 

 

Team Trips

 

The Under 10’s and Under 12’s will go to Sydney this year to watch the Swans play at either the SCG or the ANZ Stadium.  This is a full day event.

 

Under 14’s and Under 16’s aged players will go to Melbourne for a weekend trip during the July school holidays.  We plan that these players will view some AFL training sessions and a couple of games at the MCG and Etihad Stadium.

 

Code of Conduct

 

To register to play with the AFC in the AFL Canberra Competition, all players, coaches, officials and parents must read and agree to abide by the AFL Canberra Code of Conduct. A copy of this document is available on both the AFC and AFL Canberra’s websites.

 

 

How do I register?

 

To register for Auskick Rookie and U8s and U9s you can either:

 

  1. Go to www.aflauskick.com.au and register online.  Be sure to enter Ainslie as your Auskick Centre or “2602” as your postcode.
